Sunday Walks makes footwear for the one day nobody hurries through, and for every other day you would rather treat the same way.
We wanted shoes
that stayed on.
Most shoes are built for the other six days. The ones spent hurrying between places, standing longer than you meant to, and quietly counting down to the moment you can take them off.
There is a particular kind of walk that only really happens on a Sunday. Nobody is timing it, there is usually a coffee involved, and the route is longer than it needs to be. Turning back early would rather defeat the point.
So we built for that pace instead. A cushioned footbed in every pair, flexible soles that bend where your foot bends, and materials chosen for how they behave once the day gets long rather than how they look in the first five minutes.
Nine styles came out of it. Sandals and wedges for warm mornings, flats and loafers for the days that want a little more structure, and clogs and slippers for when you are not going far at all.
Made to be lived in.
From the front step to the far end of the afternoon, and back to the floor beside the door where you left them.
